FCC Sanctuary Remodel Pledge Form

Our existing First Covenant Church was built in 1978, and the new addition was added in 2007. For over 40 years our sanctuary has served us well, however, a few updates are needed. A Sanctuary Remodel Committee was formed in the fall of 2017. This team reviewed all aspects of the sanctuary which included: flooring, lighting, paint, upholstery, windows and treatments. This remodel project will include carpeting, painting, window coverings, sanctuary doors, band area platform/ramp, dimmer controls, soffit/fascia on sanctuary/garage, and AC replacement in friendship room. The remodel project for the sanctuary was approved by the congregation at the December 2018 business meeting for a total of $85,000. The project is to be financed by the following:

1. Sweat Equity – There are some areas of the project that members can help with labor to reduce the cost like carpet removal, painting, tile work/removal, wall paper removal. If you have experience or would like to help install, please let us know. Contact Jim Larson.

2. Memorial Fund – These are funds donated in memory of loved ones with the intent to help the church with capital purchases. This is not to exceed $15,000.

3. Capital Improvement Fund/ existing Sanctuary Remodel Fund - $8,500

4. Designated Sanctuary Fund from 2017 surplus - $8,000
